Today we’re joining the amazing initiative of ‘A day for the planet’, where there will be activities all over the island to clean up!
Our guides James & Patrick will take you on the Crystal Coast walk, to get rid of the big dangerous rusty container on Cala des Pou, a little bay we pass along the way. We’ll bring an angle grinder to cut it into big pieces and we’ll need lots of hands to take the pieces out of there, as well as taking any other trash that we can find along the way!
If you happen to have an angle grinder yourself or can bring along an extra fully charged battery for ours, that would be amazing!
More about the Crystal Coast walk: we start from the very last small beach at the end of Portinatx and continue along the rugged coast to the only area in Ibiza where you can find real quartz crystals.
Passing the island’s most northern beach where you can find million year old fossils, if you’re lucky, as well as experience the crystal clear waters of Ibiza. We follow the coastline (where on a clear day you can see as far as Mallorca), passing secret coves and rock formations, ending up at a secret beach for a swim – and cleaning up!
If you have, please bring protective gloves and strong bags to take away the pieces of iron.
DATE & TIME:
