thu15oct8:00 pmthu11:00 pmNight Sky Walk - Stargazing (Cala Xarraca) - 20.00h

Event Details

Come with us to join an amazing evening walk to a beautiful spot where we will have a perfect view of the night sky. Toby will lead you to a great place where we can lie on our backs to look straight up and have a 360 degrees view. During the walk we will have to adjust our eyes to the dark so we can see everything clearly while our ‘star lady’ Etienne will be explaining it all to us. She will share general information on the milkyway, galaxies, stars and planets. And a star walk once around the night sky, naming constellations and zodiacsigns. Mars is the brightest light in the nightsky, lined up with Saturn and Jupiter we look at the ecliptic!

Please bring a torch and something to lie on, so you get a good view of the stars. Bring warm clothes, hat and gloves so you stay warm. We will be serving wine and hot infusion to enjoy as part of the experience. Please bring your own glass/cup.

DATE & TIME: Thursday 15th October – 20.00h

MEETING POINT: Cala Xarraca beach. From here we will drive for 5 minutes to the starting point of the walk.
