sun15nov6:30 pmsun9:00 pmNight Sky Walk - Stargazing (Santa Agnes) - 18.30h

Event Details

Come with us to join an amazing evening walk to a beautiful spot where we will have a perfect view of the night sky. Toby will lead you to a great place where we can lie on our backs to look straight up and have a 360 degrees view. During the walk we will have to adjust our eyes to the dark so we can see everything clearly while our ‘star lady’ Etienne will be explaining it all to us.

Now in november we see the first bright stars of the winter hexagon rising in the east while the summer triangle starts to set in the west. Also Jupiter and Saturn are already close to the horizon, leaving Mars to dominate the night sky with its bright red light. We will start with general information on the milky way, galaxies, stars and planets and then do our skywalk naming constellations and zodiac signs, all enriched by your questions!

Please bring a torch and something to lie on, so you get a good view of the stars. Bring warm clothes, hat and gloves so you stay warm. We will be serving wine and hot infusion to enjoy as part of the experience. Please bring your own glass/cup.
