fri17nov9:15 pmfri11:15 pmNight Sky Walk - Stargazing (Xarraca) - 21.15h

Event Details

The autumn night sky awaits us with brilliant stars and constellations, with planet Jupiter being the brightest light.  Pegasus is high up and allows us to spot our closest neighbour galaxy Andromeda.  The summer triangle has moved to the west and we see the first bright stars of the winter hexagon rising in the east.

A 20 minute walk leads us to an open spot where we settle down and listen to our “star lady” Etienne, while our eyes adjust to the dark.   Lots of fascinating information about the Milky Way, galaxies, the Universe, stars and planets prepares us for the final “skywalk”: identifying all the stars, constellations and zodiac signs in tonight´s sky.

You can bring a mat or cushion to sit on, and you should bring a torch as we are walking at night.
