Event Details

Due to the new measures around the corona virus, we will cancel all of our community walks from 16th of March for the next 14 days.

On this magnificent coastal walk Sheila will take you from the Sa Caleta area to an outstanding viewpoint. Along the way we can visit the ancient Archaeological Phoenician remains and tunnels built by Franco’s government in 1936/1937 during the Spanish Civil War to defend the temporary military airport of Es Codolar (now Ibiza airport). Moving on through the forest we reach the tip of the peninsular for incredible views above Cala Jondal and far beyond.

Wednesday 25th March – 10.00h

Car parking area marked with two huge boulders directly on the main coastal road that runs above Sa Caleta restaurant. The start is NOT at the restaurant (please check the Google Map link).

Approx 5.5 kms and about 2.5 hours.
Some uneven rocky paths with loose stones underfoot.

The walks are by donation of €10 per person, the BIG WALKS are by donation of €15 per person, It’s important for us that the walks are accessible to all and if you are on a very tight budget then we also accept exchanges like some nice chocolate, something home made or a hug!

If you have a lovely well trained dog which is also socialized please bring them along. They will need to be on a lead on the roads & some of the beaches.

We have liability insurance, but do not have medical insurance – this is your responsibility.

All our guides are trained and have the ability to lead groups, they all carry a first aid kit and use walkie talkies to keep in contact with a back marker to make sure the group stays together and are safe. We also have strict departure and return procedure to ensure everyone is accounted for.

The trip and your safety is your responsibility and you must ensure you are covered for this prior to coming on the walk.

Don’t hesitate contacting us if you have further questions.
