wed11dec10:00 amwed12:30 pmShort & Sweet Walk - San Joan Hills - 10.00h

Event Details

Beginning from the historic Church of San Joan our guide Patrick* will take us along narrow forest trails before we head gently upward into the hills. One last push and we are rewarded by an awesome view way back down into the valley to the church and village below where we started the walk, and far reaching views to the other side of the island.

Discovering old ruins, an interesting well and foraging for an abundance of herbs and wild flowers makes this walk an absolute must! Especially with the cakes, teas and coffee to complete your morning!

*Whilst Sheila is recovering from her fall, the wonderful Patrick will be leading the Short & Sweet walks for the next couple of weeks till Sheila is fully recovered and back again.

Wednesday 11th December 2019 – 10.00h

The walks are by donation of €10 per person, the BIG WALKS are by donation of €15 per person, It’s important for us that the walks are accessible to all and if you are on a very tight budget then we also accept exchanges like some nice chocolate, something home made or a hug!

If you have a lovely well trained dog which is also socialized please bring them along. They will need to be on a lead on the roads & some of the beaches.

We have liability insurance, but do not have medical insurance – this is your responsibility.

All our guides are trained and have the ability to lead groups, they all carry a first aid kit and use walkie talkies to keep in contact with a back marker to make sure the group stays together and are safe. We also have strict departure and return procedure to ensure everyone is accounted for.

The trip and your safety is your responsibility and you must ensure you are covered for this prior to coming on the walk.
