Event Details
On this exciting walk we will explore the awe-inspiring massive ruins of the 70’s long abandoned Festival Club now covered in colorful graffiti of varying degrees of imagination.
Starting from the tiny village of San Agustin our guide Sheila takes you across the fields and along pretty country lanes with spectacular views to walk in an area hardly discovered, until we reach the abandoned ruins.
Learn all about the Festival Club history on this informative walk where our Festival Club expert will join us and bring the now derelict club back to life with stories about the rise and fall over a short 2 year period of this space.
DATE & TIME:
Wednesday 16th December – 10.00h
MEETING POINT:
Church of San Agustin
GOOGLE MAP LINK:

RATING: EASY +
Approx. 7 kms and about 2.5 – 3 hours to allow time at the ruins.
Good country lanes and footpaths with some rocky terrain and loose stones underfoot. The good road up to the ruins is a 15-20 minute fairly steep climb interspersed with flat sections. We can take our time and there will be the option to wait at the bottom if preferred. However, it is well worth the short hike!
Please reserve and pay for your walk online.
