sun15mar11:00 amsun3:00 pm*Cancelled* Sunday Social walk - Aguas Blancas - 11.00h

Event Details

Due to the new measures around the corona virus, we will cancel all of our walks for the next 14 days.

Starting at the lovely beach of Aguas Blancas John will guide you into the little-walked hills behind, through thick forest and along country lanes. We pass some friendly donkeys (bring a treat for them if you like), walk paths only used by hunters and get amazing views from an ancient threshing circle as far as Mallorca. We also pass what is said to be the biggest and oldest oak tree in the whole of Spain, being 3000 years old!

Bring a picnic lunch which will be eaten from a lovely view point.

Sunday 15th March – 11.00h

Aguas Blancas, on the beach at the bottom of the concrete road

Approx. 10 kms and about 4 hours. With a steep uphill part with loose stones underfoot for about 20 minutes, then downhill all the way back to the beach.

How do the walks work?

The walks are by donation of €10 per person, the BIG WALKS are by donation of €15 per person, It’s important for us that the walks are accessible to all and if you are on a very tight budget then we also accept exchanges like some nice chocolate, something home made or a hug!

If you have a lovely well trained dog which is also socialized please bring them along. They will need to be on a lead on the roads & some of the beaches.

We have liability insurance, but do not have medical insurance – this is your responsibility.

All our guides are trained and have the ability to lead groups, they all carry a first aid kit and use walkie talkies to keep in contact with a back marker to make sure the group stays together and are safe. We also have strict departure and return procedure to ensure everyone is accounted for.

The trip and your safety is your responsibility and you must ensure you are covered for this prior to coming on the walk.

Don’t hesitate contacting us if you have further questions.
