Starting just outside the village of San Mateu, the path leads us past terraced fields and into the forest, with ever-expanding views as we head upwards. The adventurous part comes when we scramble over boulders to reach a breathtaking viewpoint overlooking Cala d’Albarca – a spot where dolphins are sometimes seen.

The route then loops back along a quiet camino, offering even more spectacular views before descending an old abandoned road to one of Ibiza’s hidden wonders: a stunning natural stone bridge. Here we pause to soak in the beauty and capture some photos before making the final climb back to our starting point.

A walk full of variety, adventure, and unforgettable scenery, this is one of the island’s true gems.
