Who is up for The BIG 1 of November? Tim will take you on an approx. 20km`s and 7 hours walk, and some of the most stunning scenery on Ibiza.
Starting from the Morna Valley floor this walk will take you up an old road to the highest mountain top with a stunning 360 degree view. Also overlooking the newest project of Walking Ibiza: our mountain hut La Montaña. From there we take you down into a hidden valley behind the picturesque village San Juan along a good country road past interesting houses and small terraces where carob and fig trees grow. The BIG walk is in the form of a loop and finally will take us over the crest of a mountain to plunge back down into the Morna Valley.
Bring plenty of snacks, a good picnic lunch, 3 liters of water, loads of energy and smiles and lets get those legs walking! (we do not pass any shops to buy anything at!).
If you have thought about doing the Around The Island Adventure then this is a typical days walking, so come and experience the magic!
DATE & TIME:

WHAT TO BRING:
-3 liters water
-plenty of snacks

We rate this walk as HARD. Mainly due to the length of 20km and total height climb, and the fact that the walk is very technical. Total approx 20km’s/ 7 hours.
How do the walks work? Read on….
You don’t have to make a reservation for our community walks. You just can show up at the meeting point.
What to bring on the walks:

At least 1.5 litres of water
Some snacks to keep you going
Good foot wear that has been worn in, trainers are generally ok as long as they have good grip.
Sunblock if required

Swimming gear in season

The Big Walks are by donation of 15€ per person. It’s important for us that the walks are accessible to all and if you are on a very tight budget then we also except exchanges like some nice chocolate, something home made or a hug!
If you have a lovely well trained dog which is also socialized please bring them along. They will need to be on a lead on the roads & some of the beaches.
We have liability insurance, but do not have medical insurance – this is your responsibility.
All our guides are trained and have the ability to lead groups, they all carry a first aid kit and use walkie talkies to keep in contact with a back marker to make sure the group stays together and are safe. We also have strict departure and return procedure to ensure everyone is accounted for.
The trip and your safety is your responsibility and you must ensure you are covered for this prior to coming on the walk.
