*Winter Solstice Walk* – Ibiza Henge – 16.00h

Join us for a special community walk to celebrate the Winter Solstice, the shortest day and longest night of the year. From this point on, the days begin to grow longer again, marking the return of the light.

Starting from Cala Comte, we’ll follow a beautiful coastal path, passing the Rave Cave and making our way to the Monument of Time and Space, also known as the Ibiza Henge. This striking circle of thirteen monoliths was created by Guy Laliberté, founder of Cirque du Soleil, and was designed to align with the sun during the solstices.

There’s no better day to visit this place, it’s what the monument was built for. Standing among the stones as the sun sets on the shortest day of the year is a simple but powerful experience.

Together with Toby, we’ll take a quiet moment to reflect and make a wish as the sun dips below the horizon before walking back along the coast to Cala Comte.

A meaningful walk to mark the turning of the season, and a great way to connect with nature, Ibiza, and each other.

• Time: 16:00 (approx. 2.5 hours)
• Distance: 5km
• Rating: Easy – with coastal stretches on uneven terrain and a fairly narrow but safe cliff top section.

What to Bring

• Small backpack – so your hands are free
• At least 1.5L of water
• Snacks
• Comfortable walking shoes with good grip
• Torch / head-torch – we will be walking back in the dark!
• Light coat just in case (in cooler months)

🐾 Dogs welcome! Socialised and well-behaved dogs are allowed, on leads when required (on roads and some beaches).
