Ibiza has a rich history with food, influenced by different cultures over thousands of years. What better way to experience this than to taste it yourself? We use a variety of great restaurants on our tours, but a typical tour could include a hidden tea-shop, a restaurant with Michelin class tapas and much more. Tag along and discover the stories behind the food, the drinks, the owners and the chefs that can only be found by booking this tour.
We have sought out the food and drinks which really connect you with Ibiza’s culture. You’ll be taken to places that only the locals know and learn the stories that the chefs and restaurant owners have told us. We take you to carefully selected locations to sample delicious dishes prepared by the best chefs, such as traditional tapas, locally sourced foods, Ibizan sobrasada sausage & desserts, and a variety of drinks.

On this walk we will take you on a special route that will connect you with nature at its best… immediately as we leave the church of Santa Agnes, we will pass the almond trees that are in abundance here, and visit an impressively ancient olive tree. Then we will trail through the peaceful forest, discovering tucked-away ancient traditions and an abundance of wild herbs and flora.
This an extended version of our regular Heaven’s Gate walk, which is longer and more in depth. Ankhana will lead us to a number of utterly stunning viewpoints, including a wonderful sunset at Heaven´s Gate itself.

This is a shorter version of our Es Vedra route… we’re excited to take you on this wonderful walk to watch sunset from the best place on the island! Lia will take you on this amazing route where you walk to some of Ibiza’s highest cliffs with stunning views of the mystical Es Vedra.
We walk through paths in the forest and vine groves. We pass olive, fig and carob trees, foraging for herbs such as rosemary, thyme and lavender along the way.
We then take a 30 minute steep climb up to the highest point, 400m above sea level, bursting through the trees for an incredible view of Es Vedra! From this point you can soak in the magnetic energy of the magical Es Vedra as the sun is starting to set. We then head down and pass the famous ´eye´of Es Vedra. It´s then a fairly short downhill walk back to the start point.

Make your own Hierbas – the famous local liquor of Ibiza!
Together with our guide Stany, we go on a one hour walk in the countryside near San Joan to collect all the wonderful herbs that make up this tasty digestif drink. It’s a lovely route with ancient little paths and roads that are perfect to collect your herbs from. We will finish at our founder Toby’s place to make the bottles of Hierbas with the herbs you’ve collected.
After preparing the Hierbas, you have to wait 3 months for it to be ready to drink!
You can just join the walk if you don’t want to make the Hierbas, in which case you only book yourself for the walk. If you want to make your own Hierbas, you add that to your booking… the cost includes the bottle and alcohol required to make the hierbas

Note that our Sunday Social Walks have moved back to the mornings now that the weather is cooling! 🙂
We begin our walk in the valley near San Mateu, where most of the grapes are produced for making wine on the island. Together with Roger, we leave the valley floor, heading into the forest. Enjoying the scented and shady pines, we pass olive, fig and carob trees, and forage for rosemary, thyme and lavender along the way. Hopefully we´ll see some beautiful almond blossom too!
We finish up on a headland where the Moors used to live many centuries ago. During the Catalan invasion in 1235, the Moors that didn’t want to convert to Catholicism escaped across the island. They found this beautiful spot to live and built a whole town of 1000 people. They survived off the land and springs which they dug on the valley floor.
On this walk we also see the ‘great wall of Ibiza’, which stretches across the headland. Originally 5m tall with lookout towers, a small portion still survives today. From this vantage point, 300m above sea level, we can enjoy stunning views across the water. You can see as far as mainland Spain on a sunny day!

Our Community Walks have moved back to the mornings, now that the weather is cooling 🙂
We are GOING BACK IN TIME on this week´s “Wednesdays are PURE”. Our guide John will take you to a peculiar and unique renovated 17th century farmhouse. Get a glimpse into the lives and daily routines of Ibiza’s ancestors and immerse yourself in the rich history of the island.
Afterwards, we embark on a scenic countryside walk with breathtaking distant views of the sea and lush forests. We will be discovering the historic side of Ibiza as we explore its stunning natural beauty. This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with others, enjoy the outdoors and learn about the island’s rich heritage.
After the walk, join us for an informal drink and some tapas in the legendary Bar Anita, which was the social center of the area in the 1960s… come along to hear stories and rumors about this unique place. (Bar Anita does not need to be booked in advance, but is at your own cost.)
