Event Details
This will be the LAST EVER Short & Sweet walk! After Sheila had an accident she has decided to hang up her walking boots and take life a bit easier, on this last ever walk we will finish with drinks in Sheilas garden…
Come and enjoy this amazing walk and celebrate the New Year with us! We will have big smiles while we walk off a few kgs from all the extra food & drinks! We will also walk past Sheila´s house, to say hello and to thank her for all the amazing walks she has led, and for the delicious cakes she has made, now that she will no longer be leading the Short & Sweet walks.
This week’s Short & Sweet walk will be led by Toby, and we will visit the ancient Moorish settlement of Balafia, made up of seven original houses and two magnificent defence towers. With two important wells close by, an 18th century fortified church and cemetery, it promises to be an exceptional experience that will enhance your knowledge of the history of this beautiful island.
For a nice contrast we have added a short loop to the walk, through a forest trail beside the church to delve deeper into the countryside behind the village.

NEW ROUTE! Lead by the amazing Naor!
Leaving the beach of Portinatx, Naor will guide us along the infamous coastal part of the Crystal Coast, where we’ll find natural crystals of Ibiza. Reaching Cal d’en Serra beach, we will pause for a swim and to explore the abandoned hotel with its crazy cool graffiti.
We then start the climb out of the beach, which gives us stunning views all around, including back down to the beach and the lighthouse. Picking up the old Portinatx road, we then walk through beautiful Ibiza countryside with carob and almond trees, and a great area for foraging.

Join our guide John on this walk from San Carlos to Cala Mastella and back, visiting a secret beach along the way.
This walk is about ancient lanes, farmland, sea views and a secret beach that even we only found some months ago! The route leaves the lovely San Carlos and takes us off into the countryside straight away passing an ancient well where you can gather some water. We then continue past a famous film star’s house and downwards to the sea for a chilled rest on the beach. The circular route takes us then on the old San Carlos road, used by horse and cart for 100’s of years, passing old farms, threshing circles and some sheep. Arriving at San Carlos to see the farm house museum and the original well of San Carlos where the town originated from.

Event Details
Have you ever looked up and wondered what all the twinkling lights are? This walk with our star lady Etienne will answer your questions and helpt you to understand the night sky.
Now in January, we look at the most beautiful constellations of the year: Orion, the hunter of the sky with his huntingdogs, the brightest fixstar of all, Sirius, the bull with its red eye and above the seven sisters, the winterhexagon…Plus there are the plantets Mars, huge and red, and Jupiter on its way to the west. We listen to general information before we do our “skywalk”: naming every star and zodiac sign, assisted by a laser-pointer. So all together it will be one fascinating short walk and an enlightening look at the sky at night.
We will walk some 20 min. on a good dirtroad up into the northern hills to a wooden platform with 360 ° views. You can bring a mat or cushion to sit or lie on. Please bring a torch as we are walking at night.

Event Details
Our guide Naor will take us from the very last small beach at the end of Portinatx and continue along the rugged coast to the only area in Ibiza where you can find real quartz crystals.
Passing the island’s most northern beach where you can find million year old fossils, if you’re lucky, as well as experience the crystal clear waters of Ibiza. We follow the coastline (where on a clear day you can see as far as Mallorca), passing secret coves and rock formations, ending up at a secret beach for a swim.
We then meander through the forest, passing ancient terracing with carob, fig and orange trees, before returning to Portinatx.
