Event Details
Our guide Georgie will take us from the very last small beach at the end of Portinatx and continue along the rugged coast to the only area in Ibiza where you can find real quartz crystals.
Passing the island’s most northern beach where you can find million year old fossils, if you’re lucky, as well as experience the crystal clear waters of Ibiza. We follow the coastline (where on a clear day you can see as far as Mallorca), passing secret coves and rock formations, ending up at a secret beach for a swim.
We then meander through the forest, passing ancient terracing with carob, fig and orange trees, before returning to Portinatx.

Event Details
This walk is spectacular and very adventurous! We will go down to sea level and the climb up is tough and steep. Ses Balandres means the ferns, because there are a few different types in the shady moist crevice that we descend through. We will also see many other plants not observed much in Ibiza due to the unique conditions here.
Together with Roger we start at the church at Santa Agnes. We pass the island’s oldest well built by the Moors. The views from the top of the cliffs is wholly spectacular with the crescent shaped Margalides islands 150 metres below and out to sea.
Then the descent starts within a deep gorge and we go all the way down to sea level, with a short section to go down with a rope. The rockface has steps carved into it which makes it much better than it sounds. At the bottom there are a few fisherman’s huts and boat launching ramps. The rock strata is particularly interesting as it is very convoluted due to powerful upheavals many thousands of years ago. The climb up will be tough, but there are many places to rest on the twisting path.
Feel free to bring a picnic lunch to enjoy at the break along the way.

Event Details
We begin our walk in the valley near San Mateu, where most of the grapes are produced for making wine on the island. Together with Billy we leave the valley floor, heading into the forest. Enjoying the scented and shady pines, we pass olive, fig and carob trees, and forage for rosemary, thyme and lavender along the way.
We finish up on a headland where the Moors used to live many centuries ago. During the Catalan invasion in 1235, the Moors that didn’t want to convert to Catholicism escaped across the island. They found this beautiful spot to live and built a whole town of 1000 people. They survived off the land and springs which they dug on the valley floor.
On this walk we also see the ‘great wall of Ibiza’, which stretches across the headland. Originally 5m tall with lookout towers, a small portion still survives today. From this vantage point, 300m above sea level, we can enjoy stunning views across the water. You can see as far as mainland Spain on a sunny day!

Enjoy our ‘star lady’ Etienne for a special Night Sky walk this evening!
Did you know that our moon is the result of a violent cosmic accident?! And did you know that the moon is responsible for life on earth? And do you ever wonder if the moon will fall onto the earth one day? Etienne will tell the amazing story of the moons origin and its importance to life on earth, its presence (a moon base?) and its future.
We walk on an even, sandy path and along the coast, stopping here and there to listen to Etienne, till we reach the 17th century pirate tower where we will watch the moon rising from the sea.
Please bring a torch, as we’ll be walking back after sunset.

Walk around the entire coastline of the island of Menorca, a wonderful Adventure that you’ll always remember!
In April 2018, in typical Toby fashion, the founder of Walking Ibiza did his research and walked around the entire coastline of Menorca alone to prepare for the first Around the Island Menorca Adventure in April 2019. Due to the many requests and positive feedback from the group after this extraordinary hike we continue to organise the Around the Island Adventure Menorca next to the original Around The Island Adventure Ibiza.

This route is only done once before, so we’re excited to take you on this wonderful walk! Ankhana will take you on this amazing route where you walk to some of Ibiza’s highest cliffs with stunning views of the mystical Es Vedra.
We start at the lovely village of Es Cubells where we visit the hermitage of the famous priest Palau who founded the church. Upon retiring he spent the final 10 years of his life living on Es Vedra meditating to achieve enlightenment.
Following in the footsteps of Palau, we walk through paths in the forest and vine groves. We’re passing olive, fig and carob trees, foraging for herbs such as rosemary, thyme and lavender along the way.
We then follow a secret path which Cosmo, Toby’s dog, discovered on the original Around the Island walk. We climb up to the highest point, 400m above sea level, bursting through the trees for an incredible view of Es Vedra! From this point you can soak in the magnetic energy of the magical Es Vedra.

Join our guide John on this walk from San Carlos to Cala Mastella and back, visiting a secret beach along the way.
This walk is about ancient lanes, farmland, sea views and a secret beach that even we only found some months ago! The route leaves the lovely San Carlos and takes us off into the countryside straight away passing an ancient well where you can gather some water. We then continue past a famous film star’s house and downwards to the sea for a chilled rest on the beach. The circular route takes us then on the old San Carlos road, used by horse and cart for 100’s of years, passing old farms, threshing circles and some sheep. Arriving at San Carlos to see the farm house museum and the original well of San Carlos where the town originated from.

Etienne will guide you on this amazing walk that explores the unspoilt ancient rugged coastline of the West coast.
Starting in the valley of Santa Agnes with its almond trees and red earth before you enter into the forest, along lovely winding paths with ancient walls and one of the largest preserved cal ovens on the island.
Then the sea comes into view and the wild rugged coast becomes evident. The ancient fisherman’s path winds its way down to the sea where you can find some old fisherman’s boat houses. The perfect place for a rest and swim, before heading upwards.
Going up a very little used path which leads to a lost village complete with terracing, ruins of houses and even its own freshwater spring. The small path continues hugging the cliffs and giving stunning views with every turn.
This trail was discovered by a family friend of our guide Tim, Bill Moffit, in the late 60’s. He took Tims parents there and ever since he calls it Bill’s Paradise.

Event Details
Ibiza has a rich history with food, influenced by different cultures over 1000s of years. What better way to experience this than to taste it yourself? We use a variety of great restaurants on our tours, but a typical tour could include a hidden tea-shop, a restaurant with Michelin class tapas and much more. Tag along and discover the stories behind the food, the drinks, the owners and the chefs that can only be found by booking this tour.
We have sought out the food and drinks which really connect you with Ibiza’s culture. You’ll be taken to places that only the locals know and learn the stories that the chefs and restaurant owners have told us. We take you to carefully selected locations to sample delicious dishes prepared by the best chefs, such as traditional tapas, locally sourced foods, Ibizan sobrasada sausage & desserts, and a variety of drinks.
