Night Sky Walks – Our special evening walks with our ‘star lady’ Etienne, who can tell you all about the night sky!

OCTOBER – JUNE: Wednesdays Are PURE – The other Wednesdays in the month will be a traditional 2 hour walk, focusing on the most stunning walks with the most wonderful guides to lead the way, enabling you to enjoy nature with new and old friends, see stunning views and have time to explore the island.
OCTOBER – JUNE: Hierbas Workshop – Once a month on a Friday, we go on a one hour walk in the countryside near San Joan to collect all the wonderful herbs that make up Hierbas – the famous local liquor of Ibiza. Join our guide John on this walk from San Carlos to Cala Mastella and back, visiting a secret beach along the way.
This walk is about ancient lanes, farmland, sea views and a secret beach that even we only found some months ago! The route leaves the lovely San Carlos and takes us off into the countryside straight away passing an ancient well where you can gather some water. We then continue past a famous film star’s house and downwards to the sea for a chilled rest on the beach. The circular route takes us then on the old San Carlos road, used by horse and cart for hundreds of years, passing old farms, threshing circles and some sheep. Arriving at San Carlos to see the farm house museum and the original well of San Carlos where the town originated from.
Feel free to end the walk at the famous Bar Anita and cheers to the new year while enjoying a home made Hierbas or snack!

Along the way Toby will share some stories about how it feels to be the only person (that I know of) to have walked around the coastline of all the Balearic islands, how he managed this and the methods used for the long distance walks.
We’ll be foraging for wild herbs, which you can pick with care and make wonderful infusions when home.

Passing the island’s most northern beach where you can find million year old fossils, if you’re lucky, as well as experience the crystal clear waters of Ibiza. We follow the coastline (where on a clear day you can see as far as Mallorca), passing secret coves and rock formations, ending up at a secret beach for a swim if you dare!
