This new walk will take you on a sunset adventure with secret paths & beaches. You are guaranteed to get your feet wet, as part of the coastal path has been washed away, so wear shoes/sandals that you are happy to get wet or bring some rubber shoes!

There is also a swimming opportunity at a very remote beach, where we can cool off. Toby will explain the history of this secret cove that includes a lovely house complete with boat houses, which hold a secret that changed the direction of Ibiza!

Once we have walked around the cove we will head upwards learning about the forest fire that passed this way in 2010 and see how the wildlife and trees have made a great comeback.

We will then relax whilst watching the sun sink into the sea and drink a toast to life & Ibiza. Please bring your own glass/cup.

Please bring a torch as the last part will be walking back in the dark.

DATE & TIME: Friday 14th August – 18.00h

MEETING POINT: We’re meeting at Cala Xarraca beach, from there it’s a short drive to the start point of the walk.

RATING: MEDIUM+
Approx. 8 kms and about 4 hours. It’s a walk with some boulder hopping and a short section where you have to get wet feet/legs in the sea. Bring shoes you don’t mind getting wet or extra sea shoes.

WHAT TO BRING:
-A small backpack so your hands are free
-At least 1.5 litres of water
-Some snacks to keep you going
-Good foot wear that has been worn in trainers are generally ok as long as they have good grip
-Sunblock if required
-Sun hat if required
-Swimming gear in season
-Torch for night time walks
-Light shower coat, just in case

We have walking poles available to assist you if required.

DONATION:
The walks are by donation of €10 per person, the BIG WALKS are by donation of €15 per person. If you are on a tight budget please contact us…

DOGS:
If you have a lovely well trained dog which is also socialized please bring them along. They will need to be on a lead on the roads & some of the beaches.

INSURANCE:
We have liability insurance, but do not have medical insurance – this is your responsibility.

GUIDES:
All our guides are trained and have the ability to lead groups, they all carry a first aid kit and use walkie talkies to keep in contact with a back marker to make sure the group stays together and are safe. We also have strict departure and return procedure to ensure everyone is accounted for.

The trip and your safety is your responsibility and you must ensure you are covered for this prior to coming on the walk.
