Event Details

The first walk of 2020: a great NEW 15k walk, with our new guide Donna for the start of the new year, a new decade for a new you! Time to get moving…

This walk offers spectacular views of Salinas & Formentera to the south, plus Sant Josep & Sant Antoni to the west – you will see the island from a completely different angle! We start the walk on a stunning forest path and gradually climb up through the unspoiled valley behind San Jordi to a Trig Point at 400m, the highest point of the walk.

We will pass a number of cal ovens, natural wells, a shepherd’s shelter and an abandoned ancient finca. We will also pass a natural pond which has recently been built as part of a project to reintroduce the Balearic green toad (calápet), from tadpoles brought over from Mallorca.

We will meet on the outskirts of San Jordi, close to Ibiza Club de Campo.

Bring some snacks to enjoy at the break along the way.

After the walk you can join us for a lunch at Deus Ex Machina, they have a really good menu for €12,50. If you want to join for lunch, please send an email to ankhana@walkingibiza.com with the number of people, so we can make the reservation.

Friday 3rd of January – 10.00h
