tue28jun10:30 pmtue12:30 pmNight Sky Walk - Stargazing (near San Miguel) - 22.30h

Event Details

After a short walk to the North-West coast we settle down surrounded by cliffs and the sea. While our eyes adjust to the darkness our ‘star lady’ Etienne starts with general information about the solar system, universe, stars and planets. Then, assisted by a laserpointer, together we will “read” the night sky.

The wheel keeps on turning: the spring triangle moves to the West and we welcome the first stars of the summer triangle in the East. These very bright stars help us to identify the constellations and zodiac signs. In June we are looking at Leo, Virgo, Libra and also at the thirteenth zodiac sign: the serper bearer!

All together it will be one fascinating short walk and an enlightening look at the sky at night.

Please bring a torch as we’ll be walking in the dark, as well as something you can sit or lay down on when looking at the sky.
