Beginning in the 21C and travelling back to ancient times to the days of pirates, merchants and salt workers, this promises to be a fascinating and interesting walk full of history.
Together with Patrick start by walking along the island’s longest beach of Playa d’en Bossa and up to the 18C defense tower perched on the cliff top. Then down to the old merchant’s village, before heading into the forest to arrive at the tiny church of San Fransesc and the new Interpretation Centre. Here we have time to stop and explore this excellent modern museum before walking back beside the historic salt flats to the beach.
If you like you can join Patrick afterwards for a coffee/tea in a nice bar.
DATE & TIME:
Wednesday 23rd October 2019 – 10.00h
