sun26jan11:00 amsun3:00 pmSunday Social Walk - Benirras into the hills - 11.00h

Event Details

Come and see Benirras from a different perspective!

Starting at the famous beach of Benirras, guided by Simon, we leave by a secret pathway heading up into the forest giving amazing views back down into the bay. A short steep section takes us into the lovely forest onto paths scented with wild rosemary and pine trees. This is a little walked part of the island with paths used by very few. Along the way we will forage for wild asparagus, thyme, wild carrots amongst others.

Hidden deep in the forest we find an old farmhouse complete with an ancient threshing circle to explore and then walk ancient paths and quiet roads before returning to Benirras.

Sunday 26th January – 11.00h

We have liability insurance, but do not have medical insurance – this is your responsibility.

All our guides are trained and have the ability to lead groups, they all carry a first aid kit and use walkie talkies to keep in contact with a back marker to make sure the group stays together and are safe. We also have strict departure and return procedure to ensure everyone is accounted for.

The trip and your safety is your responsibility and you must ensure you are covered for this prior to coming on the walk.
