Event Details

This NEW walk with our new guide Donna starts and finishes at Casa Maca, the beautiful rural hotel just outside Eivissa.

We start the walk along a dried-up torrente abundant with wild herbs. We pass numerous cal ovens, including one with a sitja alongside it, where charcoal would have been made to feed the cal oven beside it. We also pass through a clearing with a stunning view of the sea and a deserted ancient finca.

Finally we arrive at a mirador (viewpoint) at the top of a huge set of stairs which have been built into a hill overlooking Eivissa. You will either have seen them from the motorway outside Eivissa and wondered what they were, or you will be amazed that you hadn’t seen them before!!!

Bring some snacks to enjoy at the break along the way.

To keep Ibiza clean, from time to time we like to clear up the rubbish on our walking routes. If you feel like it, please bring a bag to help us make a start this week.

LUNCH:
After the walk you can join us for a lunch at Casa Maca, they have a really great Sunday Roast starting from €19. If you want to join for lunch, please send an email to ankhana@walkingibiza.com with the number of people, so we can make the reservation.

DATE & TIME:
Sunday 2nd February – 11.00h

MEETING POINT:
Casa Maca car park. Please park on the side of the car park further away from the hotel, so the hotel car park stays open for their guests.
